Dean has gained a certain understanding of angels, given he shared a body with one for a while. Only makes sense that he'd get their feelings about Lucifer.

Haha, I had totally not considered that angle of Gabriel, and it makes me laugh.

And yeah, Dean and Cas still have a lot to work out, but at least they're going in generally the right direction now.
