I loved this very creative idea and you set an era of history I've had a thing for ever since I was ten and my grandpa sat me down and we went through a trunk full of mementos he'd brought back from the war. You really managed to take two roles Richard's played and blend them beautifully and believably giving Gabriel a touching backstory in the process.
