I like that there is tension between Castiel and Gabriel, and Dean isn't getting what it's about at all.
The idea that one of the pagans set this up to spike the gun of the Apocalypse is interesting. Especially since the boys also have Famine's ring -- which I'm sure Sam has put under lock and key, because *he's* not stupid, and doesn't want to risk a transformation of his own. Looking forward to the next part rather a lot.
