I am alive! But my thesis is draining my life force like no other. It is frankly exhausting, and I totally do not feel smart enough to finish this project. Who knew that doctorate research would be so damned difficult? Grargharhgargh.

So to those awesome people who are waiting on their stories for help_japan, I assure you I am working on them. I am part of the way through one story, and have concept work done on the other. And for those waiting on 'On the Wings of War', I will post the penultimate chapter forthwith. It just needs some editing. And then I need to write the epilogue and then it will be done. Holy shit. Finally.

And lastly, I have a sudden burning desire to write an Aeon Flux AU for GenKill. Brad as Aeon, Nate as Trevor Goodchilde. Yes, I am aware that I am completely insane. Don't mind me. If it happens, it happens, but I may be full of lies. Lies and deceit. Because I definitely do not have time to write for pleasure right now.

Good luck for your thesis! It's damned difficult because it's doctorate, after all! And when you totally ace this, you'll get to rub it in our faces and we'll totally respect you even more because you'll be a doctor, aye? :P

Thanks man! I know it's supposed to be difficult, but I'm usually good at research, and now my advisor is like, 'You need to learn all the things' and I'm like, 'Learn ALL the things??' and now my brain hurts a lot. But yes, when it is finished I will totally be insisting on everyone calling me Doctor :D

I know, I want to! GenKill voices are really difficult though, so we'll see whether or not the execution crashes and burns :P

All the things at this point would be the historiography of the Industrial Revolution from its inception to the present. Which means lots of books with names like The Age of Capital that are 700 pages long. My brain is not big enough to fit all the things!
