Title: Anatomy of a Mid-life Crisis
Author: Alchemy Alice
Genre/Pairing: Banter-y goodness! Ariadne/Eames, very background Arthur/Cobb
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 4,500
Warnings: No spoilers, very mild gore. Very slight tie-in to my other story Retrieval, but you don’t need to have read that for this to make sense.
Disclaimer: Nothing here belongs to me, I am merely playing in someone else’s sandbox.
Summary: Ariadne knew, in theory, that at one point in her life she hadn’t had to deal with strange men barging into her life and messing around with it, but now she honestly couldn’t remember what that had been like, or when it had been the case. It was slightly pathetic, and more than slightly irritating.

AN: For [livejournal.com profile] cunning_croft, who won my auction at [livejournal.com profile] help_japan. I hope you enjoy this!

I am alive! But my thesis is draining my life force like no other. It is frankly exhausting, and I totally do not feel smart enough to finish this project. Who knew that doctorate research would be so damned difficult? Grargharhgargh.

So to those awesome people who are waiting on their stories for [livejournal.com profile] help_japan, I assure you I am working on them. I am part of the way through one story, and have concept work done on the other. And for those waiting on 'On the Wings of War', I will post the penultimate chapter forthwith. It just needs some editing. And then I need to write the epilogue and then it will be done. Holy shit. Finally.

And lastly, I have a sudden burning desire to write an Aeon Flux AU for GenKill. Brad as Aeon, Nate as Trevor Goodchilde. Yes, I am aware that I am completely insane. Don't mind me. If it happens, it happens, but I may be full of lies. Lies and deceit. Because I definitely do not have time to write for pleasure right now.

Alice out.

Well, it has been a monstrous few weeks, for a number of reasons that I don't really feel like explaining in detail. Basically it was busy, research was good but tiring, and then bureaucracy exploded in my face and my entire week has been occupied with cleaning up the mess.

But anyway! The fics for Japan are still up for grabs; I'm writing them for the top two bidders now, in case that adds some extra incentive. And I will try to write them in a timely manner, despite the madness that is my life!

In other news, Generation Kill has entirely consumed my fandom brain. I won't write for it, because I don't think I could, but I have devoured everything that is already around, and have come to the conclusion that the fandom actually subverts Sturgeon's Law. It is astounding.

Anyway, that's all I've got. If I have to fill out any more paperwork for the next month, I will actually kill something. Or just crawl into a bottle of scotch and just stay there until it all goes away.

Right, I'm throwing my hat in as well. I couldn't not, really. The sheer scale of what's happening is just devastating.

I'm offering 1000 words or more for [livejournal.com profile] help_japan, which can be bid for at this thread.

Happy bidding, guys.

ETA: You are all amazing. I'm throwing in another fic for the second place bidder :D

Title: A symbol of all the days
Author: Alchemy Alice
Fandom: Inception
Pairing: Arthur/Cobb
Word Count: ~3,000
Rating: PG
Warnings/Disclaimers: I own nothing, this is not my sandbox; also this is a sequel, and won't make any sense without reading what preceded it.
Summary: Follow-up to The Outrage of the Years, written for [livejournal.com profile] sin_delight  for [livejournal.com profile] helpbrazil2011. Thank you for donating, and I hope you like this!

It's a long road, and a lot of pages, to recovery. )

Hey guys,

I really liked doing charity fic last time around, so now I'm doing another one!

I've posted an offer at [livejournal.com profile] helpbrazil2011  for fic, minimum 1000 words for either Supernatural or Inception fandom. If you like my work and have some spare cash lying around, please bid! My thread can be found here.

Title: Recharge
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing/Genre: Sam/Gabriel, humor
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~5,900
Warnings: Ignores season 6, picks up three months after the season 5 finale and goes AU from there.
Summary: For [livejournal.com profile] help_pakistan, winner [livejournal.com profile] jessebee's prompts being "first time", "in the rain", and "historical". In which Sam takes custody of Gabriel's porno, Dean and Castiel need a push, and there are shenanigans of the restorative and historical kinds.

A/N: Oh god, I am SO SORRY this took so long, [livejournal.com profile] jessebee . I really hope you like it--it got rather dramatic, which I hadn't counted on. Clearly I need to brush up on my banter, or something.

A/N: This...completely exploded on me, but I wanted to at least give you the first half on time. The second half, in which I will actually get to the prompts, will be done as soon as humanly possible. Sorry about the delay!
