Oh my goodness, thank you SO MUCH. I am so glad you liked this--it was a lot of fun but also a real challenge, because I felt like Eliot was looking over my shoulder the whole time, being all, "What are you DOING with my poem??" So I am very, very happy that you liked it.
And YAY you got the references! They were really fun to put in. This poem really is made for those two, I swear. It became more and more apparent the more a trawled the piece for relevant quotations.
