I'm really, really glad that monologue works for you. I was torn while writing about whether I wanted Arthur to just pull back and hang up before breaking down completely or actually telling Cobb what was really wrong, and I while the former could have been really heartbreaking, I felt like the latter still worked despite being far more outwardly dramatic. So I'm very happy that you liked the outburst, and found it realistic despite perhaps not being what we normally see of Arthur.
