Oooh, an agriculture angle could indeed be fascinating! Set it in the Dust Bowl or something. I also don't have anything close to the knowledge to write that, but it's definitely compelling.
Hope you enjoy the show! I'm only on the third or fourth episode, and the pilot is by far the least interesting, because it does basically just outline and discuss Campbell, but the ones following are well worth watching :)
