To be honest, Inception really didn't sell me on Tom Hardy all that much. I liked him fine, and fandom did bring him to my attention quite a bit, but I remained fairly neutral.

RocknRolla, on the other hand, makes me want to hug him. It isn't even that good a movie, but still. Awwwww. You hit on Gerard Butler and made him slow dance with you! You're ADORABLE. COME HERE, I WILL PUT YOU IN A SNOWGLOBE AND SHAKE YOU.

Um. Carry on.

Ahahaha it's more a series of tiny scenes rather than one definitive scene, so you'll have to watch the film for it. But yeah, it's hilarious and adorable, and you can probably find it on megavideo or something :D

You want to see Tom at his finest? Watch "Bronson". Now THAT was a career-making performance.

Oh man, I'd heard of the film and the performance, but I hadn't realized the extent of the insanity. Goddamn, my list of films I need to watch just increased exponentially!

Have you seen him in Stuart, A Life Backwards? He is such a poor baby in that one. (And Sherlock Benedict Cumberbatch is in it!) Also his performance in Wuthering Heights was quite good, in a creepy stalker-ish way. Basically Tom Hardy is one seriously underrated actor and I loves him. ♥

And wait... he's in a movie with GERARD BUTLER?!? Must watch RocknRolla now, apparently. I will add it to my list!

I have seen part of Wuthering Heights, but not Stuart, which I was aware of but haven't tracked down. I definitely knew he had serious acting chops, he just hadn't been on my radar before!

And yeah, I actually like Gerard Butler in RocknRolla, which is unusual for me. He needs to embrace his accent more often, and not try to unsuccessfully smother it in Americanisms!

I love the dancing in the credits. |3 So adorable. Though, haha, I really loved RocknRolla, but then... I really like Guy Ritchie.

The dancing was awesome. And the whole movie wasn't bad, it just wasn't Guy Ritchie's best, you know? Lock, Stock will always win, as far as I'm concerned :)

I would love to make a decent icon of the dancing. Most specifically the ass grabbing and moving his hand. :'D Oh, that I will agree with totally. Lock, Stock is one of the best movies out there.

I didn't realise he was in two episodes of Band of Brothers! Did you? Now I have to rewatch it.

I thought he did a great Eames but otherwise, like you, I'm just neutral on him. I fangirl hard on Leo and Watanabe Ken.

BWHAT? How was I not aware of this?? Dammit, I really don't have the emotional stamina to watch that again. I'm going to have to carefully wait another year or so, and then rewatch. Damn.

I have seriously rekindled my 12-year-old crush on Leo, though now of course it's based on him being a serious badass actor rather than a teen heartthrob. But I'm finding it kind of hilarious that apparently, 12-year-old me had good taste, she just didn't know it yet!

You're not the only one. Someone mentioned it and now I'm wracking my brain in trying to remember if I'd seen him before.

I never thought of him as good-looking when he was younger. He looked so much better now that he's older.

He was sort of cute and boyish before, which appealed at the time but doesn't really now. I think I liked him because everyone else was freaking out over Titanic. But now I'm all HOT DAMN YOU ARE HANDSOME AND TALENTED AND MAKE MOVIES I ACTUALLY LIKE.
