Okay, I'm mainlining Band of Brothers right now, because it breaks my heart and is amazing and goddamn it, war films. WAR FILMS. I cannot cope. First Foyle's War, and now this. Jesus Christ, it makes my soul hurt in the best of ways.

I only say this, because I demand to know why no one has done a Skip-as-Gabriel's-vessel fic yet. If someone has, I need it STAT, but also, I'm totes going to go write one, right now. That is, if I manage to also write my seminar essay at the same time.

Also, while I'm working out how the hell I'm going to finish this stupid fanmix...would anyone be interested in me doing a podfic of 'Dies Irae, or Something'? I weirdly enjoy reading aloud, so it'd be fun.

Let me know if you're interested. I'll be here, drinking Jameson straight and willing myself to endure research into the Battle of the Bulge.

I didn't comment on the fic, but I finished it last week and I loved it!! And I would heart a podfic so so hard.

Just, that fic. Finally someone else asks the question I've been wondering about, "Why can't they share?" Like, really, why not?! Why does it have to be one or the other?! (I'm getting a little bit worked up about it right here. Sorry.)

But, yeah. I loved the fic and would love a podfic of it. Also, can I friend you?
